ConePic is operated by Digibuffer Private Limited ("we", "us"), which is responsible for your personal data.

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy policy tells you how we look after your personal data when you use ConePic, as a photographer or as a client or guest opening a gallery, and about your privacy rights.

2. Information we collect

We collect and process the following types of information:

• Account information (name and email address from your Cone ID)
• Photos and videos photographers upload, stored in their StorageCone account
• Picks, comments and enquiries you send through ConePic
• Selfies taken for face scan, and face data made from gallery photos when a photographer turns face scan on
• Usage data (which galleries were opened and when)
• Device information (IP address, browser type, operating system)
• Payment information (processed securely by our payment provider)

3. How we use your information

We use your information to:

• Provide galleries, picks, comments, downloads and face scan
• Show photographers who opened their galleries and what they picked
• Send you service updates and notifications
• Improve our service and develop new features
• Prevent fraud and ensure security
• Comply with legal obligations

4. Face scan

Face scan only runs on galleries where the photographer has turned it on. A guest's selfie is used to find the photos they are in, within that gallery only. Face data stays private to the photographer's account, and photos are never used to train AI models.

5. Data security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections, access controls and backups. Private galleries can only be opened by people the photographer lets in.

6. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:

• With the photographer whose gallery you open (your name, email, picks and comments)
• With your explicit consent
• With service providers who help us operate the Service, under strict confidentiality agreements
• To comply with legal obligations or protect our legal rights
• In connection with a business transfer (merger, acquisition, etc.)

7. Your rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Export your data
• Withdraw consent at any time
• Object to processing of your data

8. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or regulatory purposes. Photos and videos live in the photographer's StorageCone account and follow StorageCone's retention rules.

9. International transfers

Your data may be transferred to and stored in countries outside your country of residence. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your data in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

10. Cookies

We use cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences, such as currency. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

11. Children's privacy

Our service is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
